Too much spare time
In my spare time I like to be creative with technology. Modern technology makes it easy to go out and build complicated things with few physical restrictions. Because of this, anyone with a willing mind, some know-how (and the internet) can do virtually anything. That kind of potential is great fun to play with, and that's exactly what I do.
And I don't just like creating, I like sharing. That's why I've put a collection of my work up here. Some of it's for fun, some of it has a purpose. Some of it is downright daft. But they're all interesting to read. So fetch yourself a coffee, because you might be up late checking all this stuff out.
My projects come into four different rough categories:
- Electronics: designing and building electronic hardware
- Hacks: taking existing technology that you find around your home every day, and making it do something it wasn't intended to
- Programming: name says it all. Writing programs, compiling them, and giggling with glee when it works.
- Web: stuff for the internet; PHP scripts.
